Meet the Team

  • Tim Eaton, Director

    Emmy Award-winner Timothy Eaton has worked variously as a Director, Cinematographer, Producer, Writer, and Editor on commercials, features, documentaries, television movies and corporate films. Tim built a successful 25 year career in Hollywood and internationally. In 2008, he founded the Santa Barbara-based film studio Verité Studios. 

    For the past sixteen years, Tim and the Verité team have collaborated with companies all over the world, including Fortune 500 companies and small businesses right here in Santa Barbara.

    Tim earned his Bachelor's in Communication from Wheaton College. He later attended ArtCenter College of Design and has since worked as an instructor in advanced cinematography and advanced lighting at ArtCenter, and as an instructor of Basic Film Production Los Angeles Film Studies Center. 

  • Erik Rodkey, Producer

    A native Santa Barbarian, Erik started making short films as a teenager. Since joining Verité Studios in 2015, Erik has been involved in every stage of production, working his way up from a green PA, sharpening his skills as a cameraman, editor, and director along the way.  After years studying under Tim, Erik has honed his skills as a well-rounded filmmaker with skills in lighting, interviewing, editing and sound mixing.

    When he is not on set or working a the next big project, Erik enjoys drinking coffee over an early morning timelapse, talking about movies—especially British films of the 30s and 40s, and singing in local choirs.

  • Tamia Sanders, Coordinator

    Tamia moved to Santa Barbara to pursue her college education, where she received her degree in Communications. During her junior year she was introduced to Tim and the Verité team, and interned for diffrent Verité Studio productions.

    Prior to her time at Verité Studios, Tamia worked as a photographer, transitioning into filmmaking in college. She has been involved in the Montecito Student Film Festival and her documentary short films have been recognized and awarded by Hollywood industry professionals.

    She officially joined the Verité team in 2024. Where she now works as Project Coordinator.
